Photography, for me, is about seeing what others might miss.

It is finding beauty in the human spirit and the stories revealed in the smallest details. It is seeing the forest through the trees.

I believe the most meaningful images are found in the details. A senior realizing the next chapter has begun. An athlete reaching the moment they have worked so hard to achieve. A bride's family sharing an unexpected laugh. A leader overcome with gratitude while accepting an award.

One of my favorite photographs is not a perfect portrait. It is a picture of my son at the Tulip Festival, frustrated because he did not get his way. It is honest. It is genuine. It is him.

Those are the moments I am drawn to. The ones that reveal who we are, not who we think we should be.

That is what Authentic Angle Photography is all about. Finding the beauty in the real moments that become the stories we carry with us.
